Comply with the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Virtually all healthcare workers who come in
contact with Protected Health Information (PHI) must be trained annually in the
areas of privacy and security. Our HIPAA courses offer role-based and
scenario-specific training to help comply with the training requirements of
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
Courses cover both the General and Role
Specific requirements of HIPAA. The general training covers HIPAA privacy rules
and guidelines, including computer security and treatment of confidential
information. The role-specific training provides modules designed for different
professions or occupations such as Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Billing Staff
of a Hospital, or Department Managers in a Health Insurance organization.
Our HIPAA courses include multiple-choice
questions, online recording of scores, and an online printable certificate upon
course completion.
These HIPAA curricula
should not be considered a HIPAA legal reference or resource or a substitute
for specific legal advice on a specific HIPAA legal issue. These HIPAA
curricula also do not address, and should not be relied upon to address,
matters of state law or preemption, that may arise on a state-by-state basis.
